Program Overview

The Cyber Security & AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) aims to equip students with foundational to intermediate knowledge in digital safety, ethical hacking basics, and artificial intelligence concepts.
The program is designed for school students (Grades 6–12) with a strong focus on hands-on learning, ethics, and real-world applications.

Program Objective

  • Build awareness of cyber threats and safe digital practices

  • Introduce AI concepts and real-life applications

  • Develop problem-solving and logical thinking skills

  • Encourage ethical use of technology

  • Prepare students for future careers in tech domains

Target Group

  • Level 1: Grades 6–8 (Foundation)

  • Level 2: Grades 9–10 (Intermediate)

  • Level 3: Grades 11–12 (Advanced)

  • Target group will be chosen by two level process

    • Identification by the schools​

    • Interaction by us and IEM Labs

    • Counselling sessions

Program Duration

  • Academic Year Program (9–10 months)

  • 4 Hours per Week

  • Total: 140–160 Hours annually

  • Duration will be customised depending on school requirement

  • This structure would for each Level and Grades

  • Mode Options:

    • Blended (Combination of both)

      • ​Online (Live Instructor-led)

      • Offline (Classroom-based)

  • Exact mode will be decided depending upon school requirement

  • Schools may decide to take up this program for each class/ sections or as decided by them

Infrastructure Requirement  (Schools need to to put)

  • Computer Lab with Internet

  • Projector / Smart Board

  • Basic Cyber Lab Setup (secured environment)

  • AI Tools Access (cloud-based preferred)

Detailed Syllabus

Given below detailed syllabus. The intensity of deliverables will vary depending on grades. For Grade 6 levels topic deliverables will be at basic level, while for Grade XII these will be more advanced. Idea is to make the students get grip on the topics as they grow up intellectually and by age. By Grade XII the topics will assist them to make a proper choice of career.

We can customise the topics and coverage depending upon the schools and the candidate profile.

      • Cyber Laws & Ethics (Basic)

  • MODULE 2: Fundamentals of Cyber Security (30 Hours)

      • Basics of Networking (IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)

      • Encryption & Data Protection

      • Introduction to Ethical Hacking

      • Types of Hackers (White, Grey, Black)

      • Safe Browsing Practices

      • Simple encryption exercises

  • ​MODULE 3: Ethical Hacking Basics (Advanced Levels) (25 Hours)

  • MODULE 6: AI + Cyber Security Integration (10 Hours)

      • Fraud Detection Systems

      • Future of AI in Security

  • MODULE 7: Capstone Project (15–20 Hours)

    • Students will create projects such as :

      • Cyber safety awareness campaign

      • AI-based mini project (chatbot/image recognition)

      • Security awareness website/poste
